The Bramwell family name in relation to print, dates back over 180 yrs to 1828 when David Taylor, the Great, Great, Great, Great Uncle of current directors Paul & Martin Bramwell founded D. Taylor & Co. to supply printed textile tickets to the Lancashire cotton industry.

David Taylor passed the company to his nephew Benjamin Taylor who in turn handed it down to his son Benjamin Alfred Taylor in 1893. The company then passed to his nephew John Benjamin Taylor Bramwell in 1925.

Following WWII, trade turned to labelling for the food industry and the business passed from father to son, to prosper under the management of John Doran Bramwell.

The Bramwell Label Company as it stands was started in 1995 by Paul & Martin Bramwell who together have over 70 years of experience in the label printing industry. Although the style of print has changed, the passion has remained through 7 generations of the Bramwell family. 2015 sees us enter our 20th year printing for the food & drinks industry and we look forward to many more!
